Course Description
Inclusive Practices is created for all undergraduate and alumni members to gain an understanding of concepts relating to social justice, privilege, oppression, and equality. This course will also provide a background for members to reflect on their own personal and social identity in regards to its relationship with oppression, privilege, and your view of the world.
As a result of completing this course, members will:
- Learn how to practice inclusion of others on your college campus and in your community
- Understand how to participate in the Oppression Action Continuum as an ally
- Consider tips to engage in challenging conversations around social justice
- Consider the intent and the impact of communication within your relationships
